Save the world, Or mind your own business?

Hi, everyone!

Did you know that you can’t save the entire world?  This was a new concept for me, when my non-physical spirit guides told me this.   I had previously been a believer in saving the world, even if only one person at a time.  Now I have a new outlook.  I realize that by keeping myself in the highest and most wonderful vibration at all times, I will help others.  I just need to project the most positive part of me out to everyone else.   I won’t be going door to door trying to win over the world to my beliefs and ideas.  That’s not how it works.  We each need to find our own way in this world.   How can I know someone’s path when I’m still searching myself and probably will continue searching my entire life!

Esther Hicks when channeling Abraham says, “Law of attraction teaches us:  When you focus on the problem, you get more of the problem.  When you focus on the solution, you get more of the solution.”  I love that saying.   Mother Theresa said, “Don’t invite me to your Anti-war marches, I will not come.  When you have a peace rally, invite me.”  Mother Theresa knew that focusing on the problem of war was not the way to solve it.   She wanted us to focus on peace.  I’m finding out that focusing on only the positive is a continuous thing.

One day I was in a public bathroom, and there was a sign hanging up that said, “This is flu season.  Wash your hands.”  I thought to myself, I wouldn’t want to read that affirmation every day, constantly affirming that it is flu season.  When I left that bathroom, half joking I asked the receptionist, “When is flu season over?”  She said, “I don’t know.  Why?”  I said, “I hope it’s over soon, so you can take down that sign that keeps people focusing on the flu.”  Not even looking up from her desk, she said, “I think it’s over around Thanksgiving.”  I laughed to myself and thought, “I need to mind my own business.”  Is this me wanting to save the world, again?  Probably.  It seemed to be ingrained in me, but I really am working on keeping my thoughts on the positive as much as possible.  I’m seeing a change in my life as a result of this thinking and new focus, which is great for me.  But again, I can’t change the world.  So, I hope that someday I’ll be able to project the best part of me and simply smile and mind my own business, knowing that those who need the flu will focus on it and will get the flu just like they want; and those who don’t need the flu, won’t focus on it and will remain healthy, like they want.  Now I’ve focused way too long on the flu.  Excuse me while I counter that thought:   I am healthy at all times!  I am healthy at all times! I am healthy at all times!

    save the world

I’ve heard people say find the one cause that brings tears to your eyes and that’s the cause you work on to help the world. But before you do that you need to work on the biggest cause of all YOURSELF. If you do not have yourself at the highest vibration you can be then you won’t be helping anyone, not really.

    Happiness – is a choice.

It is free will to choose to be happy or not. It is free will to focus on the positive or negatives of things. It is free will to focus on the flu and the fear of getting it or to focus on being healthy.

You must rely on yourself for happiness. No person can make you happy only you can. If you choose to be happy only when this happens then that’s your choice and you won’t be happy.

Bad things are happening all around us AND SO ARE GOOD THINGS. What do I chose to give my thoughts and attention to, THE GOOD THINGS. If I give my energy to the good then the good spreads throughout. Things happen in life and how we choose to react to them decides how our lives will be. If something bad happens then yes that sucks, but look at all that is good. If you are going to dwell, dwell on the good. You’ll feel so much better.

I’m not saying ignore the bad. If something bad happens, feel the feelings and let it go and get back up where you belong. Also, don’t give the bad feelings to others it just makes the bad grow more.

A long time ago I was told “life is what you make it”, it really is.

Fear – the older I get the less fear I have, meanwhile it seems everyone else is vice versa of this. Why???

Fear is everywhere. It’s in our commercials, our news, our internet, it’s everywhere. Fear is there when faith is not. Faith in god and the universe will conquer all fear.

I know that I am well protected and I am grateful for being so well protected. I know that I am never alone. Love surrounds me always and I let that love flow out to others. Because of this fear is less and less existent in me.
