I recently received a short message from someone who has read my blog. My response seemed to sum up a lot so I though I would post this short conversation here:

Thank You DB for the kind reminder. I’ve been thinking of getting back to it. My understanding of the subject of Deliberate Creation is just slippery. Looking ahead to what will happen next is too elusive to get a grip on but looking back at what has transpired is interesting, sometimes satisfying, sometimes confusing.

The original idea was to promote affiliate links for the unexplainable store and weave my way into at least a rudimentary understanding of Deliberate Creation, read, “reverse engineer god.”

Neither of these has worked out as hoped but 2011 has been the most interesting year of my life, of 60 odd years (and I do mean odd? years), apparently because of the way I’ve changed my thinking and belief systems.

I want to decide on something and have it happen. What happens is, I decide on something and something happens but the relationship between the two look more like finger painting than a nice clear pen and ink sketch.

The important part is to keep a positive mindset, stay in the upper region of good emotions. Allowing anger, discouragement, blame, worry to pass quickly by and embrace contentment, hopefulness, optimism and positive expectation. So exactly what I want to happen may not transpire but what does happen is good. Things that appear at first bad, I just think, “…there must be a reason for this, I will wait and see if something positive comes of it…”

Something positive always does come of it and at the same time the difficult times diminish in intensity and frequency. It is all Good.

Like so many, I first become aware of Law of Attraction by watching the movie The Secret. The version I saw was the original with Ester Hicks. I loved every minute of it and I especially loved Ester. That was around March of 2008.

I already had some background in positive thinking and the idea that your mind does not understand the concept of “no”. For example you’re going to the store for bread you say to yourself, “don’t forget the bread,” your mind understands it as, “forget the bread.” I would change that sort of thing to “remember the bread.” It helped.

Law of Attraction takes that a Quantum Leap forward and claims your thoughts actually create your reality. You create your own reality! That’s the statement you hear all the time, and it’s true but a little misleading. Notice the difference between the statements “your thoughts create your reality” and “you create your own reality.”  Sounds the same but it’s not. Your thoughts are your thoughts and you are your ego, your thoughts, your beliefs, your subconscious, the sum total of your experiences and probably much more than that.

Heavily stated throughout the Seth material, by Jane Roberts and the Bashar material by Darryl Anka is this general idea: You create your own reality according to your beliefs. Enough of a challenge to control your thoughts but, at least you know what they are and can work with them in real time. Beliefs are a different issue altogether. Beliefs and the resulting expectations are in the domain of the subconscious.

So you start off with all this great control over your life experience. Oh for Joy! Then you end up with, but first you have to reprogram your subconscious mind and your belief systems. Oh Crap!

I had a breakthrough on Christmas. A Christmas present from the Universe, if you will. There is information out there. People who claim to understand how to communicate with the subconscious mind, to find out what beliefs it currently holds and how to reprogram it to hold beliefs you design.

The Psychology of Change is the name of this series and it is an 8 part series. I can not seem to get them to automatically play, one after another. If some one knows how to do that I would love to hear from you.

I will add more to this but since there are 8 movies I’ll post now and that will give those interested time to watch a few of the movies.

I’ll just keep that on my desk so I can just fondle it as I crunch the numbers in my bank accounts I already created while I wait for the Pennsylvania weather to back off so I can take a spin in my brand new 2010 Corvette.
